Q1: What inspired you to become a career coach?
​
Dan:
I’ve always loved helping people reach their full potential. But my own career has had its ups and downs, so I know how hard it can be to find your way.
​
My mom used to say: “You’re wise beyond your years.”
I’m not sure about the wisdom part, but I’ve always been pretty resourceful!
🔹 I started in admin at a workforce center, where I talked to job seekers daily and learned about their struggles.
🔹 Later, as a career advisor, I got to tackle those barriers head-on.
Seeing people transform, gain confidence, and take charge of their career journey is incredibly fulfilling. That’s why I do this work!

Q2: What makes your coaching approach unique?

Q3: How did you get interested in AI, and why do you use it in your coaching?

Dan:
It all started over a year ago when a mentor asked, “Have you heard of ChatGPT?” 🤯 A LinkedIn friend shared resources, and I immediately saw AI’s potential in job searching.
✨ AI helps in three major ways (but also with so much more!):
🔹 Refining resumes: AI fine-tunes formatting & boosts keyword visibility for ATS.
🔹 Polishing your professional presentation: AI ensures your skills shine through authentically.
🔹 Streamlining applications: AI removes guesswork, so you get noticed faster.
It’s still your voice, skills, and expertise: AI just amplifies it!

Q4: What do you enjoy most about working with clients?

Dan:
Watching clients transform: From feeling lost to feeling confident in their job search, is what I love most!
💬 In my leadership role, I worked behind the scenes, but I missed the one-on-one connection with clients. That’s why I started my own business, to help people directly!

🤔 I get it! Many people worry AI makes things feel inauthentic. But AI is just a tool, it’s all about how you use it.

✔ Think of AI like a high-tech paintbrush: It enhances, but you’re still the artist of your own story.
✔ Never use AI-generated content as-is: Always personalize it to reflect your personality and values.
✔ Use AI to highlight your strengths: Just like tailoring a resume for a job, AI helps craft your best version.

When used thoughtfully, AI becomes an empowering asset rather than a shortcut.

Q7: What’s your favorite part of being an AI enthusiast outside of coaching?

Dan:
🌟 The creative side! I love experimenting with AI, especially AI art and design, AI video animation and music creation are also interests. 🎶🎨
✔ Seeing my growth over the past year has been amazing.
✔ Pushing tech boundaries and connecting with a community of creators is inspiring.
✔ Lately, I’ve even been building my own ChatGPT models! 🤖
